I create textile art that speaks
about women, memory and time.
Every fabric has a voice.
Every stitch — a meaning.
I write poems — about war and hope,
about my granddaughter, the storm,
the sea and the spring.
Sometimes they are reborn in fabric.
A triptych created as a gift for Dress for Success Maribor at the completion of our first joint project. The idea: how the image of a woman in art has changed — from a silent dark figure to a bright personality, painted by a woman herself.
Original textile works created with patchwork, appliqué and punch needle. Inspired by women, nature and stories that deserve to be remembered.
Poems, reflections and an essay. Words that live beside my textile art and often become part of it.
Literary translations between Ukrainian, Slovenian, Croatian and English. Bringing voices closer.
